Babies are active participants in this class. They are self-directed explorers rather than passive observers, which is important for their development. This approach helps build their confidence and ability to concentrate, laying the foundation for independent play. We have designed the environment according to Montessori principles for babies from birth to walking age. Different materials are available for babies in different positions – supine, prone, or sitting. We encourage free movement, independence, and meaningful engagement with the environment. This self-directed exploration means the baby is an active participant, not just a passive observer.
This is a parent-and-child class! We’re excited to have you join us.

Children learn through their senses. They are sensory explorers; that’s how they learn. It’s all sensory in the first years of life. If we prepare the environment so that they can have sensory experiences, we make the environment exciting and attractive.
The specific structures of any Montessori infant environment are considered to satisfy the needs of the children during their first three years of life. They offer the opportunity to learn skills such as repetition, concentration, and the children’s work characteristics.
This is a parent-and-child class! We’re excited to have you join us. We foster independence and request that parents relax in the parent’s corner within the same room. While your child enjoys activities and explores the environment, take some downtime with a book or crafts. This way, they can understand you are doing your work, and they will do their work.
In the Montessori environment, we consider the following:
- The proportions of the child’s body
- The child’s strength
- The child’s development
The environment provides three essential characteristics:
- Allow “physical” learning – Montessori is three-dimensional, hands-on.
- Possibility of group activities – music, eating together(social development)
- Possibility of individual work – leading to repetition and concentration.
