What do we want to achieve at Tulip Montessori?
At Tulip Montessori we want to be more than a daycare. Our hope is that families experience us as a small, trusted community for the early years.
We are committed to:
-
Giving young children a safe, calm and joyful place that feels like a second home.
-
Providing a high quality Montessori daycare environment where children can grow at their own pace and build independence, language and social skills.
-
Supporting working parents with consistent care, clear routines and open, honest communication about their child’s day.
-
Walking alongside families in the early years, answering questions about development, behaviour, bilingualism and settling into life in the Netherlands.
-
Creating a warm, inclusive community where families know each other, feel welcome and support one another.
-
Modelling respect, kindness and responsibility so that children learn they are part of a wider human community.
About Tulip Montessori
Our approach to early childhood education is based on the Montessori method. We believe that education begins at birth and is woven into a child’s everyday environment. The Montessori approach has two main goals: to support each child’s development and to help the child adapt physically, emotionally and socially to the world around them.
Tulip Montessori Daycare is a small, bilingual English and Dutch Infant Community for children from 18 months to 3 years. Children attend independently for five full days a week in a calm, home like setting. The environment is carefully prepared so that children can build independence, concentration, language and social skills through meaningful, hands on activities.
We work in close partnership with parents and see our daycare as a shared community for children, families and educators.
What do we offer at Tulip Montessori?
At Tulip Montessori we provide a warm Montessori daycare environment for young children from 18 months to 3 years. Our Infant Community is a small group where children attend independently five full days per week and are cared for by familiar educators in a calm, home like space.
The group is bilingual in English and Dutch. Children hear both languages naturally during the day in songs, stories and everyday routines. This gentle exposure supports their language development without pressure.
We keep our group size small so that every child receives individual attention and time to build a close relationship with the adults who care for them. During the day children:
-
explore Montessori materials and hands on activities
-
practice practical life skills such as pouring, wiping and dressing
-
develop language and social skills in contact with their peers
-
enjoy outdoor play and movement
-
share breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks together at the table
Our daycare fees are based on a full time place, five days per week. All meals are included. More information about prices can be found on our Fees page.
We work closely with parents and are always happy to talk about a child’s development, behaviour or family questions. Our aim is that Tulip Montessori feels like a small, trusted community for both children and their parents.
