Daycare Program
Age: 18 months to 3 years
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 to 16:00
Tulip Montessori is a small, bilingual Montessori daycare in English and Dutch for children from 18 months to 3 years, five full days per week. Our home like setting provides a calm and secure environment where young children can build independence, confidence and a love of learning.
At this age, children are active explorers. They learn through movement, repetition and meaningful real life activities. Our classroom is carefully prepared with low shelves, child sized furniture and Montessori materials that invite children to choose their own work, practice skills and concentrate at their own pace.
Throughout the day, children:
-
take part in practical life activities such as wiping, dressing, caring for plants and dish washing
-
develop language and social skills through songs, stories and gentle group moments
-
refine movement and coordination with gross motor and fine motor activities
-
enjoy outdoor play and time in the garden
-
share breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks together in a peaceful, family style atmosphere
Our educators observe each child closely and offer just the right amount of support. We do not do for the child what they are ready to do by themselves. This balance of freedom and clear limits helps children feel safe, respected and proud of what they can do.
Would you like to see the classroom and meet us in person? Please schedule a visit. After your visit, we can discuss availability and send you the contract for registration.

The environment provides three essential characteristics:
- Allow “physical” learning – Montessori is three-dimensional, hands-on.
- Possibility of group activities – music, eating together(social development)
- Possibility of individual work – leading to repetition and concentration.
